THE BARNYARD BUDDIES HOLIDAY ADVENTURES WITH ELLA

SATURDAY 18TH DECEMBER 2009
The Barnyard Buddies came to Dad and Jane's. When we got home Dad and Jane told us that we were going to have an early Xmas. After lunch the Barnyard Buddies went to a party and did some break dancing.

SUNDAY 19TH DECEMBER 2009
On Sunday Dad's family came over. The Barnyard Buddies were excited to open my presents and after we had opened my presents they met new friends and they played Lego, watched DVDs, went to Moana Pool, played cricket, went shopping and they had pizza. They played on the trampoline and destroyed Nik's Lego fort. They also met a spider and they also read my new dictionary.

THURSDAY 24TH DECEMBER 2009
The Barnyard Buddies were so excited to come to my Mum's house. It was Xmas Eve and we were going to see the Xmas lights with Miss B.

FRIDAY 25TH DECEMBER 2009
Hooray! It was Xmas Day. Santa had been!!!

SATURDAY 26TH DECEMBER 2009
The next day we went to Wanaka. When we got in the door we got chased by a dog. Ella gave us a bath and hung us on the line by our ears... ouch!!!!! Soon it was time to go to Naseby to do some camping. When it was bedtime we got to sleep in a tent. But in the night it was very windy.

A couple of days later my Nana and Grandad came over and we decided to got to the swimming dam. Nana and Grandad came too. The Barnyard Buddies didn't go in, they sat on the side and watched! We decided to have an ice cream for afternoon tea - yummy! We were heading back to Wanaka the next day and this time the dog didn't chase us! We were going to Puzzling World but we got left behind. Oh no!

We went to the movies to see Alvin and the Chipmunks - the squeakuel. It was a very funny and cute movie!

We climbed up Mount Iron, phew, it was a hard climb up the hill in the backpack! When we got to the top it was pouring with rain - wet!!!

Then back home the cats sure were crazy and happy to see us.

Ella told us we're going on a big plane to Auckland soon - how exciting!!

13TH JANUARY
We flew up on a plane. We were up above the clouds. It was scary when we were coming down.

14TH JANUARY
We watched Ella swim in the motel pool. We were too scared to go to the zoo and Kelly Tarltan's because we might get eaten.

16TH JANUARY
We drove from Auckland to Waihi Beach but we stopped to look at the L&P bottle at Paeroa.

19TH JANUARY
We went to the beach and tested Ella's surfboard.

21ST JANUARY
Back in Auckland we had to hide from Jane's crazy niece and nephews. We got a window seat on the plane and we saw Dunedin out the window.
